Brockman on preseason Wooden list

Washington forward Jon Brockman was named today as one of 50 preseason candidate for the John R. Wooden Award, which is given to the country’s top college basketball player.
Brockman, a senior from Snohomish, is one of five Pac-10 players on the list along with Arizona’s Chase Budinger, UCLA’s Darren Collison, USC’s Taj Gibson, and Arizona State’s James Harden. Also on the list is last year’s winner, Tyler Hansbrough of North Carolina.
