A new addition to the basketball team?

Lorenzo Romar said today that Devin Aguilar, a receiver on the football team, may walk-on the the basketball team. Aguilar, an all-state guard at Denver’s Mullen High School, talked to romar about walking on when he came on his recruiting visit, and said during the fall that he is still considering basketball.
What isn’t known yet, however, is whether new football coach Steve Sarkisian will be OK with Aguilar playing basketball. Tyrone Willingham had told Romar he was fine with Aguilar playing basketball, but Romar said that is a conversation he and Sarkisian have not yet had.
The other news from Romar today is that a deicision will soon be made on freshman forward Tyreese Breshers. Breshers has been limited in practice since he got here while recovering from offseason shin surgery. Romar said that a decision will be made at the end of this week as to whether Breshers will play this year or redshirt.
