Ok, so no coaching announcement yet

Steve Sarkisian did in fact meet with reporters this afternoon, but told us he’s not yet ready to make any announcements on coaching decisions he’s made. As I said in the last post, Tim Lappano has confirmed he’s out, and Mike Denbrock told reporters the same thing in passing earlier.
Sarkisian said he’s made some decisions, but hasn’t decided on all the current UW coaches yet.
Sarkisian also talked about his first day on the job. He made a trip to the east side to talk to coaches at a couple of high schools, Skyline and Bellevue, the winners of this year’s Class 4A and 3A state titles. He said he plans on going to a few more schools to introduce himself to coaches (he can’t talk to players while he’s on a HS campus) in the next couple of days, then he will go back to L.A. for USC’s Friday practice and come back Sunday or Monday.
