Have you got that inaugurating feeling going on

Good Sunday morning.
In less than 48 hours, this nation will welcome a new president. In these next two days, and a day or two after that, I’ll be posting on what’s happening back there from those who are attending. If you’ve got some thoughts and stories, send them to me and we’ll get those up too.
One of the big stories is the crowd that is coming and the security efforts to be deployed to protect it as well as the new president.
On Jan. 7, a nine-page press release was issued detailing the closures and delays and other means of dealing with the crowd that may exceed 2 million people.
From the release, here’s the mouthful of law enforcement agencies involved:
Security and transportation plans for the Inaugural have been developed by a partnership of local, state and federal law enforcement and public safety agencies, including the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), the District of Columbia Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, the Virginia State Police, the Maryland Department of Transportation, the United States Secret Service, the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the United States Capitol Police and the United States Park Police.
I’ve attached the entire release. It looks like traveling around will be a tough go for everyone on Tuesday, except maybe bicyclists.
“Free valet bicycle parking will be provided in designated areas north and south of the event perimeter,” the release states.
