Huskies 23rd in AP poll, not ranked in ESPN/USA Today poll

This week’s rankings are out, and the Huskies are ranked 23rd in the AP poll, marking the first time they’ve been ranked since early in the 2006-2007 season. Washington fell short of cracking the top 25, however, in the ESPN/USA Today poll, which is voted on by coaches. The Huskies did get 41 votes in that poll, making them 30th.

Despite being the No. 1 team in the Pac-10 standings, the Huskies are ranked behind ASU (14th in both polls) and UCLA (17th AP, 16th ESPN/USA Today).
