UW "looking into" situation regarding LA Times article

As I mentioned earlier, a LA Times story that ran today metioned that a HS junior was at a meeting between UW coaches and two recruits in Southern California last week, which could potentially be a problem.

A University of Washington spokesman issued the following release this afternoon:

“The UW athletic department and compliance director John Morris are currently

looking into the situation but have not proceeded far enough to come to any

conclusions at this time.

Once more information has been gathered, further comment will be issued.”
