Boys swimming
Trevor LeValley of Marysville-Pilchuck set a school record of 54.94 seconds in winning the 100-yard backstroke in a 107-76 win over Oak Harbor. He also posted a state meet qualifying time of 53.34 in winning the 100 butterfly and swam on two winning relays as M-P captured the Wesco North dual meet championship.
Boys basketball
Spencer Elwell of Marysville-Pilchuck scored 12 of M-P’s 16 third-quarter points and finished with 29 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks in a 61-52 win over Arlington.
Girls basketball
Lindsey Newman of South Whidbey scored 39 points in a 60-39 win over Coupeville and 33 points in a 51-39 win over Coupeville.
Wrestling
Brandon Dean of Shorewood notched a pin at 140 pounds to pull his team into a 39-all tie with Jackson. Shorewood was then awarded the dual-meet victory based upon tiebreaker criteria.
