It turns out a road split in Arizona was enough for the Huskies to move up in the polls this week. Washington went up one spot from 23rd to 22nd in the AP poll, and went from the “others receiving votes” category to 25th in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.
The Huskies are one of three Pac-10 teams in the rankings. UCLA is 15th in the AP Poll and 12th in the coaches poll, while ASU, which lost a pair of home games last week, dropped to 24th in the AP poll and 23rd in the coaches.
You can see both polls here.
Also, the Huskies are up to a No. 6 seed in the latest ESPN bracketology. Washington is one of five Pac-10 teams projected to make the tournament along with UCLA, ASU, Cal and USC.
And finally, if you missed Saturday’s win over ASU, here are some highlights.
