Huskies move up in one poll, out in another

A road split wasn’t enough to impress voters in the A.P. poll, it appears, as the Huskies have dropped from 22nd last week to the “others receiving votes” category in today’s rankings. The Huskies got 135 votes, which puts them at 27th. That leaves just two Pac-10 teams, UCLA at 11th and ASU at 18th, in the AP top 25.

The coaches, however, were more impressed with Washington’s week, moving the Huskies up from 25th to 24th in the ESPN/USA Today poll. The Sun Devils are 18th in that poll as well, while UCLA jumped from 12th all the way up to sixth.
