Not too long ago, Steve Sarkisian had a full staff after hiring receivers coach Aaron Roderick away from Utah. But not long after he was hired, Roderick changed his mind and went back to Utah.

Today, the Huskies announced that offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Jim Michalczik will leave the UW to take a position with the Raiders. Michalczik had previously been the O-line coach at Cal before Sarkisian hired him in December.

That now leaves two positions open on the UW staff.

Michalczik Leaves UW to Take Job With Raiders

SEATTLE — Washington football coach Steve Sarkisian announced today that Jim Michalczik has left the UW coaching staff to take a position with the Oakland Raiders.

Michalczik was hired to the Husky staff in December as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.

The UW staff currently has two openings on its football coaching staff. The NCAA allows a Division I-A staff to have a head coach and nine assistants.
