Sculptors sought for outdoor show

The Snohomish County Arts Commission wants to display your work as part of a temporary sculpture exhibit on the Snohomish County campus plaza in downtown Everett.

Submit digital images of your existing free-standing sculptural works. Artwork must be accompanied by its own weighted base or platform. The pieces are for outside display and should be durable, vandal resistant and not a danger to viewers or the public. The artwork should also be able to withstand a high-traffic area and require limited maintenance for the length of the show.

The deadline for submitting digital images is March 27. Selected artists will receive a stipend of $500. To view the entire prospectus, go to www.snocoarts.org.

Snohomish County views its mission to display public art as integral to the community, and believes art improves quality of life and stimulates the economy and tourism.
