Ring? What ring?

Pearls of wisdom: If you’re looking to pop the question today on Valentine’s Day and want to do it with some class, Good Life offers ideas for three perfect places to propose: Howarth Park, Snoqualmie Falls and the Oyster Bar on Chuckanut Drive.
A warning to anyone else eating at the Oyster Bar today: Don’t order the oysters on the half-shell unless you want to watch your date poke at the shellfish looking for an engagement ring.
You get what you pay for: Travel guru Rick Steves takes us to the museums of London and recommends you pick up the audio guide at Westminster Abbey. Admission is $18, but the guide is narrated by the dulcet-toned Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons.
If $18 is too steep, you can get the same tour for $7.50, but it’s narrated by Steven Seagal faking a British accent.
I’m a PC: Microsoft says it plans to open its own chain of stores where it will sell computers loaded with Windows and other products, such as the Zune mp3 players.
Sure, it sounds an awful lot like Apple’s stores, but the difference is that Microsoft’s stores will close without warning and the clerks will stare at you blankly until you push their reboot button.
