ARLINGTON — Traffic was backed up on I-5 near Arlington on Monday after a truck carrying 180 gallons of oil flipped over.
The truck, a car and a sports utility vehicle crashed around 1:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-5. The driver of the SUV drove away without stopping, trooper Jeff Leonard said.
No one was seriously injured, Leonard said.
The truck flipped in a ditch and spilled around 15 gallons of oil.
Investigators aren’t yet sure what led to the crash.
The right lane of southbound I-5 was closed for several hours Monday while troopers dealt with the accident.
