Citing a glitch, Microsoft recently asked laid-off employees to give back some of their severance pay. To no one’s surprise, corporate embarrassment ensued, and the software giant rescinded the request.

Sounds like Microsoft’s human resources department might still be running Windows Millennium Edition.

Dropping the gloves: Ice skating lessons at Comcast Community Ice Rink were just the ticket for Monroe resident Cathy Rutherford, who wants to learn how to play hockey.

Now that she can skate, Rutherford can continue her hockey education with Fistfighting 101 and Secrets of Dental Implants 102.
