Moses Lake is ranked sixth (Tacoma News Tribune) but the 20-6 Chiefs have a potent inside-outside attack with 6-foot-5 post Carly Noyes and sophomore point guard Jordan Loera.

Must-see first-round game

Garfield (16-9) vs. Newport (17-8), 2 p.m. Wednesday

Due to a bracket quirk, the KingCo Crest Division rivals clash for the fourth time this season. Newport won the first two games by a total of six points, but Garfield prevailed 63-50 Feb. 26 in the district playoffs.
