Doing some evil

Good planning but lousy aim: Scientists are intrigued by the behavior of a chimpanzee at a Swedish zoo who had been stockpiling rocks, then hurling them at zoo visitors, showing an ability for planning ahead.
The researchers were even more amazed when they learned the chimp had called his stockbroker with orders to sell everything last year weeks before the markets tanked.
This side up: A magician’s claim that he shipped himself in a crate via the United Parcel Service from New York to Las Vegas is now considered a hoax by federal authorities who don’t believe he was ever in the crate.
If the magician had really hoped to impress people he would have to book a flight on a commercial airline and magically arrive at his destination on time and with all his baggage.
Gone south in a hurry: A pod of orca whales swam nearly 1,000 miles from the San Juan Islands to Monterey Bay, Calif., in only 11 days, Friday Harbor’s whale center reported.
The killer whales later admitted they hadn’t actually swam the whole way and instead had packed themselves in crates and shipped themselves UPS.
