3 Wallaces to take part in Maine late-model race

OXFORD, Maine — Three members of racing’s Wallace family have signed up to participate in the 36th annual TD Banknorth 250, to be held July 19 at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Kenny Wallace and Steve Wallace have filed entries to the race in which former NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Rusty Wallace will serve as grand marshal.

Rusty Wallace competed in a NASCAR Busch North Series race at Oxford Plains in 1987; two years later, he raced in the 250, finishing 10th.

Kenny Wallace competed in three consecutive 250s in the early 1990s.
