EVERETT — For Roman Miller, Monday was a pretty special day.
Miller, who helps coaches as an athletic advisor at Archbishop Murphy, saw Murphy’s new baseball field dedicated in his name— Roman Miller Field— as Murphy defeated Lakewood 14-3.
The Wildcats’ Tyler Kane produced a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fourth, sparking an 8-run inning, proving that Murphy has power with a total of three home runs.
“No its not surprising to me that we hit three home runs,” Waldren said. “It was a great day for us … we had a good crowd despite the weather, and an assembly to dedicate the field to Roman Miller.”
