East-West football rosters + spring sports previews

Published 2:14 pm Monday, March 23, 2009

After a weeklong trip to the East Coast, I’m back on the high school sports beat.

I had a great time exploring Washington, D.C., and New York City. It was mostly fun watching the first few rounds of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, although the Huskies’ loss against Purdue was pretty painful.

But how about those Zags?

Of course, prep news didn’t wait patiently while I was gone. Here are a few items of interest (including some spring sports previews) that popped up in the past week.
