Everyone seems to hate Windows Vista, so Microsoft says it’s working hard to make the next version more likable.
For one, they’re bringing back the infamous “Clippy,” with a new feature: When the thing pops up on your screen to say “It looks like you’re writing a letter,” you can shoot it through the head.
More no-hitters? Pitcher Kori Seidlitz of Mountlake Terrace threw back-to-back perfect games last week, with help from her catcher, Kayla Watson.
It’s quite a feat, but lately we’re getting a feeling that we might see back-to-back no hitters at Safeco Field this season — and not by Seattle Mariners pitchers.
Coming to airport gift shops everywhere: Dan Brown’s next novel, his first since “The Da Vinci Code” six years ago, will come out in September.
Which raises the question: Why bother? If The Buzz were to win the Mega Millions lottery, which, essentially, is what Brown did, we’d promptly begin a new career: yachtsman.
Although we’d continue editing if given a crack at the next Dan Brown novel.
