Paint the town red: The Eastern Washington town of Mesa may have to declare bankruptcy because it owes $246,000 in legal fees and fines following a lawsuit by a former mayor.
Once it emerges from bankruptcy, Mesa will be owned by the Mesa Brew-N-Bowl, Al’s Hardware and the Quit-Yer-Stitchin’ Quilt Guild.
