Mystery concert

A couple of concert promoters swear that hip-hop superstar Juvenile will perform at a nightclub in Marysville on Saturday (A&E, Page 13). There’s no confirmation from Juvenile’s people or his record company.
Let’s just put it this way: If you check out the scene at J.R. Phinickey on State Avenue on Saturday evening, you’ll either see one of the biggest names in hip-hop or a 1980s cover band called Joove N. Aisle.
Unplugged: Many summer camps don’t allow laptops, wireless devices and iPods. Kids don’t like that.
How’s this for a compromise: Issue each kid an AM transistor radio and an earphone. After lights out, they can pull the blankets over their heads and furtively listen to Art Bell and Solid Gold Oldies on WRTG 1570-AM.
Get a clue: This week’s big movie opening is “Angels and Demons,” based on the novel by Dan “The Da Vinci Code” Brown (A&E, Page 3).
In it, renowned Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon puts off an urgent summons from the Vatican because he’s busy decoding graffiti spray-painted on the 7-11 where he buys his morning coffee.
