Katherine D. Kremer, daughter of Dan Kremer and Cynthia White of Shoreline and a graduate of Shorecrest High School, was awarded the Joanne Woodward Trophy at Convocation at Kenyon College in central Ohio.
The trophy is named after actress Joanne Woodward and sponsored by her husband, the late actor Paul Newman, who graduated from Kenyon in 1949. It is awarded annually to the female actor who, in the opinion of the judges, has given the most skillful and successful performance in acting role during the year. Kremer won for her performance as Nancy in Bryony Lavery’s “Frozen.”
