See young dance champions strut

Young dance champions Rickie Taylor and Erik Linder, who have performed on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” are among the guests scheduled to appear during Oly’s Fifth Anniversary Ball and World Class Show.

Rickie and Erik, both 8 and from Everett and Lake Stevens respectively, have won a USA National Dance Championship and recently returned from England where the U.S. Juvenile Team took third place.

Along with these two young dancers, British and American ballroom dance champions, Russian youth ballroom champions, Russian professional ballroom finalists and Ukrainian and Latin dance champions are also performing, competing and giving dance demonstrations this weekend.

The dance competition is all day June 20 and the anniversary ball and show starts at 7 p.m. June 21 at Oly’s Dance at the Dorothy Jayne Studio, 2931 Bond St., Everett.
