Here are the latest reports from Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and Brier police.

July 18

Suspicious circumstances. 22200 block of Brier Road. An officer saw three juveniles fleeing the area. Checking, the officer found a pair of tennis shoes and pants. He found no evidence of a crime.

July 17

Stiffed cabbie. 4000 block 236th St. SW, 2:48 a.m. Three men ran off without paying the remaining $40 on a taxi fare owed on a trip from Kirkland to Mountlake Terrace.

July 16

Recovered stolen vehicle. 23600 block 56th Ave. W, 11 p.m. Police arrested a 26-year-old Kent man for possession of a stolen vehicle and a 24-year-old Everett man for illegal possession of a firearm after discovering them sitting in a stolen parked car at convenience store. The car’s owner told police he found a handgun in the trunk that wasn’t his. Police a second passenger at the scene.

July 15

Burglary. 6600 block 230th St. SW, 12:30 p.m. A Mountlake Terrace man said he took his wife to a doctor’s appointment and when they returned home, they found someone had forced open the front door of their house. He didn’t find anything missing.

July 14

Theft from auto. 4300 block 212th St. SW, 7:18 p.m. A 68-year-old Mountlake Terrace woman said she tried to pull her car into a stall for disabled drivers and noticed a man standing by a full shopping cart in the stall. She went into the store and when she returned, she found her front door ajar and the disabled parking sticker missing.

July 13

Burglary. 21000 block 58th Ave. W. Homeowners said they left home at about 10 a.m. and returned to find someone had broken in through a back door and ransacked the house. Checkbooks were on the floor. Drawers were opened. Papers were strewn about. The female half discovered her father’s gold watch, worth about $50 but carrying sentimental value, was missing.
