Natural wonders: An Internet poll is under way to choose the top seven wonders of nature.

Millions around the world will vote in the poll, but The Buzz won’t be one of them. We’re still grumpy that an earlier poll to select the seven man-made wonders of the world did not honor the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland.

Radiator schnozz: Scientists now believe the toucan’s huge colorful bill helps regulate its body temperature.

The breakthrough came after researchers determined the nose of entertainer Barry Manilow performs essentially the same function.

Truckin’: Two Snohomish County drivers raced Friday in a NASCAR truck series race.

Thrilling as the truck series is, we think NASCAR could make it even more entertaining. A few ideas:

Make drivers begin races by filling their trucks’ boxes with landscape bark.

Hitch the trucks to boat trailers and require drivers to back them down a launch ramp. Drivers who forget to disconnect the trailer lights before the rig enters the water would be disqualified.

Lend the trucks to the drivers’ brothers-in-law, and then change the race format to a demolition derby.
