The French Chef sure loved her butter

In 1981, Julia Child shared a recipe with The Herald’s Judyrae Kruse for an egg entree called oeufs interallies. Kruse shares it with Herald readers today.

Give the dish a try, but don’t tell your cardiologist. It calls for 13½ tablespoons of butter (that’s 2,747 calories right there!), 12 eggs and a cup of heavy cream.

Serves six dinner guests, provided none have had gastric bypass surgery, or Bill Clinton.

A final note: Child lived to age 91 eating like this.

Give us credit: New rules taking effect this week give people more time to pay their credit card bills. It’s part of legislation signed into law by President Barack Obama earlier this year.

If The Buzz were president, we’d have vetoed the bill unless it provided every American adult with a pair of scissors with which to cut up their credit cards.

Keep it simple: Jobs columnist Eve Nicholas says that when e-mailing your resume to prospective employers, watch out for text formatting that looks great on your screen but turns into garbage in the recipient’s e-mail program.

When The Buzz sorts through resumes, our old friend Mr. Delete Key takes care of any that use Zapf Chancery.
