Young dancers miss next round of show

Erik Linder and Rickie Taylor are headed back to Snohomish County.
The ballroom dancing partners were eliminated from “America’s Got Talent” during Wednesday night’s show.
Erik, 9 of Lake Stevens, and Rickie, 8 of Everett, had been among the top 20 finalists on the TV show.
However, the viewing public failed to give their act enough votes to advance to the next round, sending the award-winning dancers home.
“America’s Got Talent” — a U.S. version of the British hit that made Susan Boyle a star — airs on NBC at 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It has been among the highest rated primetime programs in recent weeks.
