Help with native plant project: The Adopt-A-Stream Foundation is looking for volunteers to help plant 200 native shrubs and 60 trees Saturday near the site of the former Larry’s Smokehouse in Mill Creek on Saturday.

Demolition crews tore down and removed the old Larry’s Smokehouse last summer, part of a plan to restore Mill Creek, which flows along the old foundation.
