Tune in for MLK choir
The MLK Celebration Choir is having its first rehearsal at 11 a.m. this morning in Everett.
It’s planned at Second Baptist Church of Everett, 2801 Virginia Ave.
All are welcome to join the Christian-focused choir for all ages.
Tour private school Sunday: The Archbishop Murphy High School annual open house is Sunday in Mill Creek.
It’s planned for noon to 4 p.m. at 12911 39th Ave. SE in Mill Creek.
Tour the Catholic high school campus and meet faculty, staff and students.

Start the Halloween party early: Learn about creepy stuff at 11 a.m. this morning in Mukilteo.
There will be stories about spirits, ghosts and hauntings for all ages by Shannon Stidman. She will discuss methods used to investigate the paranormal and show images from true cases.
This is for teens and adults, not kids, and is offered at the Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd.
Free swim dates offered: Partners in the Marysville Healthy Communities Project have added free swimming dates.
The next two free swims are scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 20 and Dec. 18 at the Marysville-Pilchuck High School Pool, 5611 108th St. NE. Swimming is free for the first 200 who attend.
