Stimulus grant is just more fat

Spending my money has to stop.

Our governor now feels we have to tax our way out of our deficit. Show me the money tree. Take my money and give it to someone else. In addition, let’s go for a $9.1 million, 2-year grant to make us healthy that will employ 36 people. (Monday article, “Grant could help county’s residents all be healthier.”)

Oh, by the way, our county health department admits that the program won’t have dramatic results in the two years. Guess what that will lead to? More taxes to continue the program.

One more government program is not what we need. The money tree is drying up.
