Washington State signs two offensive linemen

PULLMAN — Washington State got some much-needed help on its offensive line by signing two junior-college players to NCAA national letters of intent.

Coach Paul Wulff said Wednesday he had signed Wade Jacobson and David Gonzales, and they were expected to enroll in classes in January.

Jacobson spent the past two seasons at Gavilan College in Gilroy, Calif. Gonzales played two years at Fresno City College.

Washington State had one of the worst offenses in the nation this past season.
