Try a river-road alternative

In response to the Herald’s Jan. 10 article, “Toll among options for U.S. 2 trestle”:

Has any one in city, county or state government considered a Lowell-Snohomish River Road alternative?

First: Connect to I-5 and Highway 9 with new overpasses or other temporary solutions.

Second: While in operation expand to four lanes.

Third: Extend to U.S. 2.

This looks too easy to be viable.
