DARRINGTON — The search for missing Anacortes man continued Saturday after his pickup truck was discovered northwest of Darrington.

Police and search and rescue volunteers combed the southeast corner of Skagit County for any sign of Keith Anderson, 62, who’s been missing since Jan. 6, Anacortes police Chief Bonnie Bowers said.

Anderson’s truck was found sometime late Friday or early Saturday off a remote logging road in the area.

Detectives examined the retired school counselor’s vehicle and found no evidence of foul play, Bowers said in a press release.

Keith Anderson left his home to meet an acquaintance in Snohomish County the evening of Jan. 6 and hasn’t returned.

He is described as white, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. He has blue eyes, graying brown hair and a gray beard.

Anyone who may have seen him is asked to call Anacortes police at 360-293-4684.
