Football recruiting: Meadowdale’s Connor Hamlett plans to sign with Oregon State University

I had heard that Meadowdale senior Connor Hamlett had quite a bit of recruiting interest for football and basketball.

It looks like he prefers the gridiron.

Hamlett plans to sign an NCAA National Letter of Intent with Oregon State University on Wednesday, according to an e-mail I received today from Meadowdale High athletic director Chris Murphy. Hamlett is expected to sign with OSU at 9 a.m.

Also expected to sign at the ceremony is Julia Fjortoft (Gonzaga University women’s soccer).
