BOYS BASKETBALL: Kaska scored 21 points in an 81-77 winner-to-state victory over Jackson and had 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 74-44 win over Shorewood.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Barhoum scored 24 points as the Mavericks claimed the Wesco top seed to the 3A District 1 playoffs with a 62-58 win over Shorecrest.

BOYS WRESTLING: Heinzer won the 112-pound title at the 4A state meet, his third straight state championship.
JOMAE ALEWINE | LAKE STEVENS
GIRLS WRESTLING: Alewine won the 103-pound state championship in the girls state meet.
GARREN RIECHEL | SNOHOMISH
BOYS SWIMMING: Riechel won his fourth straight 4A state championship in the 100-yard breaststroke and repeated as state champion in the 50 freestyle.
