Edmonds-Woodway stays alive with a win over Federal Way

TACOMA — Angela Woods made seven of eight free throws in the final minute to help the Edmonds-Woodway girls basketball team stave off Federal Way 55-52 Thursday at the Class 4A girls basketball tournament.
The win advances the Warriors (23-2) to an 11 a.m. game Friday against Lewis-Clark.
Woods and Sydney Donaldson each scored 17 points to lead the Warriors.
Talia Walton scored 20 to pace Federal Way.
