Front Porch: Artists’ sale moves from Mukilteo

The 15th annual Artist Garage Sale is moving.
Because of construction at Mukilteo’s Rosehill Community Center, the 15th annual Artist Garage Sale, put on by the Arts Council of Snohomish County, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 5 at the new Schack Art Center, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett.
Artists will fill up the Schack’s bare interior with additional artists’ booths lined up along Hoyt Avenue between Wall Street and Hewitt Avenue. If you’re interested in a booth, contact Carie Collver at ccollver@artscouncilofsnoco.org or at 425-257-7374.
And if you want a sneak peak inside the Schack before the garage sale, the arts council is hosting the following open house tours: 4 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. April 20, noon April 22 and 5 p.m. May 6.

Jet City Rollergirls’ dance contest: A dance contest begins at 7:30 p.m. April 30 at Gorditos, 1909 Hewitt Ave., Everett.
It’s a Jet City Rollergirls Team Camaro Harem dance party. Prizes will be given to teams with the craziest moves and best team workout. Teams can enter the contest for $10 or $3 per person.
