What a nice young man.
Brent Lillibridge, a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School, who plays baseball with the Charlotte Knights, a White Sox Class AAA farm club in South Carolina, donated what he could to a church auction.
Lillibridge offered to sign an autograph, provide lunch and play catch with the highest bidder Saturday night at Mill Creek Foursquare Church in Lynnwood.
His offer sold for $175.
No telling if lunch will be peanuts and hot dogs.

This is the big one for the Floretum Garden Club of Edmonds.
The annual plant sale is its largest fundraiser, aimed at raising money for a $1,000 scholarship. That’s a lot of money for a small club to donate to someone headed to college.
The plant sale is planned for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Frontier Bank, 123 Third Ave. S., Edmonds.
Member Lynda Hughes says they are also selling raffle tickets for a quilt to raise money to landscape in front of Old Mill Town in Edmonds and create a pea patch for folks in condominiums.
