Verizon has written off an $18,000 bill racked up over six weeks by a teenager who used his cell phone for Internet access.
The telecommunications giant instead reached an agreement with the boy’s father to have the kid sweep the executive parking lot at Verizon headquarters every day until May 2015.
Where he’s calling from: “Two and a Half Men” star Charlie Sheen has agreed to return for the sitcom’s seventh season.
In a nod to Sheen’s off-screen troubles with substance abuse and alleged domestic violence, show producers plan a very special two-part episode adapted from a Raymond Carver short story.
