Edmonds-Woodway High School

The senior duo took first place in doubles at the 4A District 1 girls tennis tournament May 20. Nelson and Waldron advanced to state.

Mitchell Briggs

Jackson High School

The senior standout took first place in the 3,200 and second in the 1,600 at the 4A District 1 track and field championships May 19 and 21 at Snohomish High School. Briggs advanced to this week’s 4A state meet in both events.
