This is, without a doubt, always the craziest week of the prep sports cycle.

There’s so much going on between today and Saturday. The state championships in baseball, softball, boys soccer, boys and girls track and field, boys and girls golf, boys and girls tennis will all wrap up.

Did I forget anything? My head is spinning.

I will spend most of my week in Tacoma at Mount Tahoma High, site of the Class 2A, 3A and 4A state track and field meets. Check out our state track and field preview in Thursday’s Herald, in print and online. State track begins Thursday and concludes on Saturday.
