We direly need money managers

I hope you Democrats are happy that your taxes are going up. The governments (state, county, city) do not know how to run a government economically. Example: The ferry system does not mind giving certain employees the right to have overtime whenever they need more money, and they give other employees money to go to work and back. Some of these people are getting their yearly salary doubled.

The management in the liquor department overpays the truckers to deliver liquor to its stores. The state government gives taxpayer money to favorite programs, and cuts school money. They want you to pay extra property taxes to pick up the tab, even though the state courts have ruled that the state is not living up to its constitutional duty to fully fund education.

The cost of the Brightwater sewage treatment plant continues to rise. Who knows what the final cost will be?

This shows me that our governments need a change in all top management personnel, and should hire people who know how to manage money, not just people.

I have seen how Toyota’s lean program works. It works great. If a person has a college degree, it does not mean that they know how to run a government properly.
