Cougar spotted in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA — Walla Walla schools have been alerted that a cougar was sighted about 2 a.m. today in the city near Whitman College.

KONA reports police and schools want students to be aware and take precautions as they return to classes after the weekend.

A Fish and Wildlife Department officer is hunting for the cougar.
