Look no further than cost of war

Instead of blaming Congressmen Larsen and Inslee, along with the Obama administration, for our huge national debt, letter writers need to look further back — to when it started. We have been fighting two wars for several years and they are creating huge deficits.

In our history, we have never been able to fight a war without creating a deficit.

Instead of the blame game, how about a tax dedicated to paying for the wars?
