Read: Brunch Bunch book club
Students entering sixth through ninth grades are invited to Brunch Bunch, a book club with discussions, activities and food held at the Mukilteo Library.
Brunch Bunch meets on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. throughout July.
Copies of the first book, “The Declaration by Gemma Malley,” are available now at the library’s information desk.
Copies of the remaining books for discussion will be available in July.
Brunch Bunch is supported by the Friends of the Mukilteo Library.
The Mukilteo Library is at 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd. in Mukilteo.

Volunteer: Mukilteo Community Garden
The Mukilteo Community Garden needs volunteers to harvest the organic produce being grown for Cocoon House, the Mukilteo Food Bank, Gospel Men’s Mission and Women and Children’s Shelter.
Volunteers can learn how to harvest vegetables from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays at 44th Ave. W. and 76th St. SW in Mukilteo.

Walk: Village Services’ walk
The Village Community Services’ Friendship Walk is planned Saturday at the Legion Park gazebo in Arlington.
Registration for the one-mile walk through downtown Arlington will begin at noon at Legion Park. The walk is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Voices of the Village performance ensemble and Village Community Services’ Friday Music and Evening with the Arts events. Participants who donate $25 or more will receive a T-shirt.
The walk will also include prizes and snacks for participants.
Legion Park is located at 114 North Olympic Ave. in Arlington.

Eat: Senior Center waffle breakfast
The Mill Creek Senior Center has arranged a waffle breakfast to raise funds for the center on July 8.
Waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea, and juice will be served from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Merrill Gardens Retirement Community, 14905 Bothell Everett Highway in Mill Creek.
The suggested donation is $10.

Go: Stanwood-Camano Festival Art by the Bay
The Stanwood-Camano Festival of Art and Music is scheduled July 10-11 at the Stanwood-Camano Community Fairgrounds.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m and feature more than 100 artisans, plants and garden art, food and music.
Admission and parking are free.
Art by the Bay is presented by the Stanwood-Camano Arts Guild and sponsored by The Crab Cracker and AAA Camano Heated Storage.
The Stanwood-Camano Community Fairgrounds are at 6431 Pioneer Highway in Stanwood.
