The Justin Bieber lounge

The Foley effect: When we fall short of success in work and life, fear of failure is the No. 1 reason, a motivational speaker says.
And why do we fear failure? Well, in this economy, failure might mean having to go live next door to another motivational speaker in a van down by the river.
Shelter from the storm: The folks at Comcast Arena plan a special lounge for parents who feel obligated to chauffeur their tween girls to the Justin Bieber concert at Comcast Arena next month.
The lounge will provide food, drinks, wi-fi and, we sincerely hope, ear muffs with a noise reduction rating in excess of 30.
Funding the feast: A Monroe man plans to sell his extensive collection of Ken Griffey Jr. memorabilia to help pay for his upcoming wedding.
The collection includes baseball cards from throughout Griffey’s career, including his rookie season at Bellingham.
We hope the guy gets top dollar for his Junior collection. That way, if the wedding guests show up with Griffey-size appetites, he’ll be prepared.
