OK, we’ve got iPhones and 365 TV channels in high definition video, but what about our flying cars?

The wait may soon be over (Page A2). A company called Terrafugia says it will bring a flying car to market in 2011, delivering on the vision set forth in “The Jetsons” and “Blade Runner,” and beating the light-rail link to Snohomish County by at least 12 years.

New nappies: The Procter &Gamble Co. has designed a new line of Pampers with various colorful designs (Page A6).

We’d appreciate a Pampers design that consists of the words, “Do Not Dispose of in Parking Lots.”

Nostalgia corner: Eager to relive the 1990s? You have two opportunities this weekend.

First, check out the return of the Lilith Fair, now known simply as Lilith, when Sarah McLachlan and Co. come to the Gorge on Saturday (A&E, Page 16).

Next, help Darrington raise money to refurbish its beloved community center by buying raffle tickets Sunday for a 1996 Pontiac Trans Sport minivan (Page B3), which looks like something Capt. Jean-Luc Picard would have driven.
