TULALIP — A Bothell boy recovering after a fireworks accident was in stable condition Tuesday evening.
Korbin Clemmons, 11, was injured about 10:30 a.m. Monday after a firework exploded in his hand.
He was with family on the beach off Mission Beach Road when he picked up what he thought was a “dud” firework piece and lit it with a cigarette lighter he also found on the beach.
He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
