Dragonflies are joyful
Pilchuck Audubon Society offers a program called “The Joy of Dragonflying” Friday in Everett.
It’s planned for 7 p.m. at the Everett Firefighters Hall, 2411 Hewitt Ave.
Jim and Betsy Walker will discuss their appreciation for dragonflies and damselflies, emphasizing field marks for identifying the beautiful odonates of Snohomish County including the Happy-face Dragonfly. Photos of interesting odonates from Oregon, California and Arizona will be shown.

Read in Mukilteo: Students entering sixth through ninth grades are invited to Brunch Bunch, a book club with discussions, activities and food held at the Mukilteo Library. Brunch Bunch meets on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11:30 a.m. throughout July.
Brunch Bunch is supported by the Friends of the Mukilteo Library.
